About us

The holiday home people

Here at Travel Chapter, we are on a mission to showcase great places to stay in the UK. We’re working with our holiday home owners to build an amazing collection of beautiful holiday homes so our guests can have special and memorable experiences.
The people behind our company are at the heart of everything we do – from our dedicated teams to our guests, owners and their support network of caretakers, cleaners and maintenance teams, we’re committed to creating long-lasting, rewarding relationships.

What matters to us?

Special experiences

We’re proud of the relationships we create with our owners - partnerships based on a shared belief in quality of service and our 30+ years of experience.

With some of the best properties in fantastic locations, we want the guest experiences we create together to be first class from beginning to end - from finding us online to turning the key in the door and beyond.

Celebrating the UK

The natural beauty of our landscape makes the UK a special destination with so much to discover right here on our doorstep: amazing coastlines, beautiful countryside, stunning national parks and a unique cultural heritage.

You don’t always have to travel far to get away and we use our portfolio of brands to appeal to all sorts of tastes and interests.

Doing the right thing

We believe that protecting the UK and supporting the communities we represent is very important, so we’re always looking for ways to make positive contributions to the places in which we live, work and stay.

We partner with amazing organisations like the RSPB and the Marine Conservation Society, alongside smaller local initiatives, to help make a difference, no matter how small.

We put people first

Our success is only made possible by our people. We're made up of UK-wide teams of exceptional individuals who are all experts in their fields. Together, each one makes a noticeable difference to what we do.

As we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to keep a workplace where people feel valued – one that is friendly, fair and inclusive; one that celebrates our differences; and one that encourages our people to be bold, explore ideas and push the boundaries every single day.

Where it all started

Travel Chapter evolved from a small, South West letting agency run by the Morris family in 1989 with a collection of just 100 rural properties. Whilst we've grown, we're proud that the same strong family ethos we had from the start has remained at the core of everything we do.

Making a positive impact

Travel Chapter is committed to continually reducing its environmental footprint. And as of July 2024, we became a Certified B Corporation meaning that we are taking responsibility to ensure that we are governed by a set of key performance indicators relating to social and environmental performance. Our strong code of ethics means that everyone, from the board down to the workers, is working together to do the right thing.

We will continue our efforts, wherever possible, to ensure that our business is conducted in more sustainable ways, and we will always look for opportunities to give a little bit back.

At a local level, that means making sure that we promote nearby businesses, generate employment opportunities for local people and support community organisations.

At a national level, we inspire our team to drive change, we encourage our guests to holiday responsibly, educate our owners to make the best choices for their holiday properties and partner with charities to help make a difference to our natural landscapes and coastlines.
